Televisionpoint.com Te Radio City has roped in 21 sensational singers live on air, from October 3. For the first time, the FM is bringing 'Musical-e-Azam', a mega line up of 21 star singers - Sonu Nig, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnurthy, Hariharan, Jagjit Singh, Shaan, Pankaj Udhas, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet, Sukhwindar, Babul Supriyo, KK, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kailash Kher, Kunal Ganjawala, Shreya Ghoshal, Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant, it Sana, Shweta Pandit and Sneha Pant live at the studio to serenade Mumbaikars.
The singers will be performing unplugged and live on Radio City Studio everyday morning 8 AM to 11 AM. The channel will dedicate the entire day to the singer, playing his/her best songs, and entertaining listener's with trivia and anecdotes from their personal lives. Besides taking song requests and chatting with their fans live on Radio City, what makes this progr special are the live requests that will be sung by the singers unplugged in the studio, a release says. Commenting on the initiative, Sonu Nig quips, "It's a great opportunity to connect with our audience." Udit Narayan further adds, "Singing live for the entire audience of Mumbai is a great feeling, I excited and waiting to get into the Radio City studios to sing my first note - live and unplugged to the listeners of Mumbai."
