Lindsey Lohan in Crash in in West Hollywood

The syndicated television news magazines The Insider and Entertainment Tonight are reporting that actress Lindsey Lohan has been involved in a traffic crash in West Hollywood.

Insider reporter Victoria Recano tells The Associated Press she happened to be working in the area when she saw a black Mercedes-Benz convertible traveling at a high rate of speed down North Robertson Boulevard that hit a red van head-on.

Recano says she saw Lohan and a passenger run out of the car and into the Hideaway House antique store. Javier Ramirez, a store employee, confirmed it was Lohan and an unidentified woman who ran into the store.

Ramirez said Lohan was very upset. He quoted her as saying, 'Oh my God, Oh my God, I can't believe it.'

The Insider and Entertainment Tonight report Lohan was being transported to a hospital. Her condition is not known.

Deputies from the West Hollywood station are investigating but couldn't immediately confirm Lohan was involved in the accident.
