    Cartoon Network, POGO launch Diwali festival of movies

    Diwali just got better with Cartoon Network and POGO's compelling programming line up of blockbuster feature films. Starting Monday, October 24, at 6 PM daily, Cartoon Network will telecast globally popular animated features to celebrate Diwali in its 'Diwali Dhoom' block, which will include titles like 'Balto', 'Thumbelina', 'Titan A.E.' amongst others.

    POGO will celebrate the festive season with its special 'Diwali Jadoo Mantar' programming block beginning Thursday, 27th October, showcasing five mega Hollywood kid blockbusters including movie titles like 'Baby's Day Out', 'Home Alone', 'Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone', 'Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets' amongst others, daily at 2 pm, an official release informs.

    The mega-movie week will culminate with classic animated features 'Ramayan – The Legend of Prince Ram' and 'Vikram Betal' being telecast back to back on Cartoon Network from 6 PM on Monday, Oct 31st, while POGO will bring the endearing tale of the poor little rich boy 'Richie Rich' to its young viewers at 2 PM on the same day.

    Cartoon Network, in its special 'Diwali Dhoom' block will premiere seven animated feature films and two Indian features including 'Balto', 'Ferngully: The Last Rainforest', 'Titan A.E', 'Alvin & The Chipmunks Meet Wolfman', 'Acceleracers: Breaking Point', 'Justice League Unlimited: The Movie', 'Thumbelina', 'Ramayan – The Legend of Prince Ram' and 'Vikram Betal'.

    POGO, as a part of its Diwali programming block 'Diwali Jadoo Mantar', will telecast five Hollywood mega kid blockbusters: 'Baby's Day Out', 'Home Alone', 'Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's StoneTM', 'Harry Potter & The Chamber Of SecretsTM' and 'Richie Rich'. As a special treat, both the Harry Potter movies will be available in four languages - namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
