    Adlabs Films sees overseas territories

    Adlabs Films in its move to adopt a bouquet offering strategy by becoming a vertically integrated film company is gaining more momentum with overseas territories in its arm.

    Adlabs chairman Manmohan Shetty reportedly has said that, "The overseas territories are very lucrative and we have clinched the rights for two major films, Rakesh Roshan's Krrish and Ravi Chopra's Babul. Further, we are in final negotiations with two other banners where the Khans may be involved."

    Meanwhile, Adlabs is upping the ante with a 10 film-deal with Vipul Shah (Ankhen and Waqt) and a three film-deal, including Bluffmaster, with Ramesh Sippy. Pooja Shetty, director said, "Vipul will do 10 films for us over the next two years with each filmspend being RS 15 crore. Prakash Jha will do two films for us."

    Adlabs has screens spread across western India in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik presently. Also will Adlabs venture outside Maharashtra with its first three screen I Max in Pacific Mall, Ghaziabad which is to be thrown open on November 18 with Harry Potter's latest offering. Pooja Shetty has a blueprint to develop 41 screens in north India, Moradabad, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Agra and Chandigarh.
