Pentamedia Graphics Q2 net slides

Televisionpoint.com Team India's entertainment graphics major, Pentamedia Graphics, reported a declined net profit of RS 1.7 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal against RS 5 crore for the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
The sales during the period stood at RS 20.3 crore against RS 40.4 crore for the second quarter of the last fiscal, a company release said. The actuals from the company's subsidiary Mayajaal were yet to be received and incorporated, the release said.
Film distribution of the existing titles had seen a positive response from leading distribution houses of Europe and the US after the company's participation in Annecy 2005. TV and home video services rights had been sold to CIS countries.
Premier children television network, Turner Entertainment Asia had entered into an agreement with the company for existing titles, the release added. 'Gulliver's Travels', an animated feature film produced by the company is completed and was scheduled for global release in December '05. The production of Tarzan and the Aliens was under progress, it said. |
