Amrita TV to celebrate Diwali with movie 'Nottam'

On the occasion of Diwali, Kerala based Amrita TV is premiering an unique Malayalam movie 'Nottam' featuring actors like Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Samvrita and Koodiattam.

'Nottam will be telecast at 3.30 pm and the day begins with a one-hour special episode of 'Udayamritham', which will focus on the family traditions and folklore of the festival of lights at 6.30 am. 'Diwali Star Lights' at 9 am will create a festive mood through interactions with leading lights of Jayaram, Prithivraj, Sada, which will be followed by 'Antakshari' with noted TV anchors at 10 am.

The mid-day Diwali session comprises a two-hour entertainment reality show, featuring top performers from Amrita's earlier reality shows - 'Super Star', 'Super Dancer', 'Super Star Junior' and 'Vanitaratnam'. The evening band will have Diwali edition of current reality shows, 'Super Dancer Junior' at 7 pm and 'Super Star Global' at 8 pm showing contestants.
