    Amrita TV launches 'Best Citizen Journalist' reality show

    Amrita TV has launched a new reality show called 'Best Citizen Journalist', which will be open to graduates upto the age of 27 aspiring to pursue one of the most exciting professions in today's age of communications.

    Best Citizen Journalist will not be considering either professional journalists or those qualified in journalism. The last date to register through is November 25,2007. 15 contestants will be selected, who will undergo grooming sessions to prepare them for this reality show. This contest will lay greater focus on field work and live reporting to prepare the contestants to be a citizen journalist.

    The scope of the show will encompass real time segments such as : Phone-in, Live Reporting, Scoop, Follow-up, Political Reporting, Social Activism among others.

    Amrita TV, launched in 2005 is a 24-hour Malayalam general entertainment and news channel with a global footprint. It has been honored with 26 State Awards for Excellence in Television.
