Amrita TV to launch Music Mix from September 29

Amrita TV, the Malayalam general entertainment channel, will launch a new music programme based on film songs called Music Mix, which will go on air from September 29 and will be telecast from Monday to Friday at 5.30 pm.
Each episode of the show will feature four songs, two drawn from the black and white era, and the other two belonging to the colour phase. The objective of the show is to blend timeless melodies drawn from the Malayalam films with that of today's hits.
The show presenter will introduce each song in detail, filling in the background information – the film to which the song belongs; the actors whose lips framed the lyrics on the silver screen; the creative trio behind-the-scenes, the lyricist, music composer and play-back singer.
