Televisionpoint.com Correspondent | New Delhi NDTV Profit, the number two English business news channel, has launched the third edition of Business Leadership Awards 2008 to be presented in New Delhi on October 06, 2008.
The awards recognizes personalities and organizations that have shown abilities across industries. Union finance minister P. Chidambaram will grace the occasion as the chief guest.

The selection process for the awards is attenuated along with Grant Thornton, which has developed a nomination universe of 21 verticals, which represent growth industries that form a part of India's GDP.
Besides these verticals, there are three special categories, which include Global Indian of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, and Most Inspiring Leader of the Year.
This year, the jury for the awards includes Dr. Bimal Jalan, former governor, RBI and MP Rajya Sabha; Suman Dubey, consultant, Dow Jones India; Narayana Murthy, chief mentor, Infosys Technologies; Dorab Sopariwala, consultant editor, NDTV Profit; T N Ninan, editor and publisher, Business Standard; Rajiv Luthra, founder and managing partner, Luthra and Luthra Law Offices and Dr. Prannoy Roy, chairman, NDTV.
