    Raj Raman joins as MD and CEO, Bollywood Corporation

    Raj Raman has joined as managing director and CEO, Bollywood Corporation Pvt Ltd (BCPL) owned by Percept Ltd.

    Shailendra Singh, joint managing director, Percept Ltd, says, "Raj Raman will help build a team that will handle Bollywood Corporation and has the mandate of developing the various verticals of its business. His expertise in various functions will bring the much required corporatization that is essential for a project of this scale and nature."

    On his appointment, said Raj Raman, "Percept's commitment towards the project gave me the confidence to take up this role and together, we will ensure that we create a property that the Indian consumer would love to experience. We already have a few plans in place and we will announce them at the appropriate time."

    Raman is a post graduate from IIM Bangalore and brings with him 22 years of experience across functions like sales, marketing, operations and business management. He has also worked across diverse categories like FMCG, financial services and real estate.

    Prior to joining Percept, Raman was with HIRCO Developments as CEO (homes and offices). Earlier, he has worked with Fullerton India Enterprises, Prudential ICICI Mutual Fund, Tata AIG, GE Countrywide, Marico Industries and Asian Paints.
