    Zee 24 Taas embarks on Parivar Apla Shehar Apla Awaj

    Zee 24 Taas, the 24 hour Marathi news channel, has embarked on an initiative titled Parivar Apla Shehar Apla Awaj, a live event taking up issues of public concern in top 24 cities of Maharashtra in 24 days.

    The event, which was kicked off from September 17 at Sangli, is being aired live daily on Zee 24 Taas channel between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm. The initiative concludes on October 8. The initiative involves discussions and debates on various issues in the cities concerned with prominent people from those cities, an press release from the channel informs.

    Bhushan Khot, vice-president and business head, Zee 24 Taas, said, "The most important point of this initiative is that the participants like politicians, professionals, experts, and citizens share the Zee 24 Taas platform and take up the cities' problems and discuss the solutions with the particular city's administrator."

    "The objective is to try and find ways to make cities more manageable and better places to live in. Thus, it is a brand building platform for both clients and the channel across Maharashtra." Khot says.

    The event has been covered in 16 cities so far – Sangli, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Latur, Nanded, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur and Amravati.

    The title sponsor of this initiative is Parivar brand from Sapat Tea, while BSNL is the co-sponsor, and Gillette, MPCB, Jyoti Labs, and Sintex are the associate sponsors. Loksatta is the print media partner.
