    Neo Cricket promises Crickethon coverage

    Neo Cricket, the cricket oriented channel from Neo Sports Broadcast stable, will provide an round the clock telethon coverage christened as the Crickethon, which is a concept entailing sports centric programming and catering to the Cricketainment needs of the viewer.

    Says Mautik Tolia, executive vice-president, programming, Neo Cricket, "Cricket programming during live cricket has always centered on wrap around shows. Neo Cricket is all set to change the rules of the game ushering in a new era providing the audience coverage through the Crickethon."

    For the international season, the channel promises to give the viewers an more dynamic entertainment approach by showcasing an special line up of programming, offering an opportunity to win a new car, and giving the viewers a chance to select their own team with 'My Team India – Chuno Shaan Se' initiative.

    In the 6:30 am slot, the channel has Playback – The Highlights Show, followed by Dial C for Cricket - Breakfast Special at 7:30 am. The Lords of the Game series will interview cricketers like Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Saurav Ganguly, Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds and Brett Lee, and will be aired till October 08 from 7:30 pm onwards.

    Through its Special Edition show, viewers will re-experience the India vs Australia test series of 2001 and the impact it had on modern cricket on the episode Greatest Series Ever Played on October 09.
