    Anil Malik joins as AVP, marketing, Rajasthan Patrika

    Anil Malik has joined as assistant vice-president, marketing, Rajasthan Patrika. He will be working from the Mumbai office of the publication and will be responsible for handling the Western and Southern regions for the Patrika Group.

    Arvind Kalia, national head, marketing, Patrika Group, says, "It is a new position we have created as the group has ambitious plans to consolidate its leadership team and Anil's rich experience in telecom, radio, print and the Internet space will certainly be an asset for us."

    Speaking to Televisionpoint.com, Mailk says, "I would be looking after the entire gamut of media max solutions including print, radio, Internet and events for the Patrika Group, which has ambitious plans and a aggressive strategy to lead."

    Malik has 15 years of experience in the print media industry, and has worked with three print media organisations in India. He was Western region head of Mint. He has also worked as general manager, marketing, Hindustan Times Media (Hindustan Times, Hindustan and Mint) and has been associated with the Times of India (Maharashtra Times) and the Indian Express Group (Indian Express and Loksatta).

    Malik holds a Masters degree in marketing management and a diploma in marketing management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
