    O&M bags creative duties of Future Generali

    Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) has bagged the creative duties of insurance company Future Generali, a joint venture between Future Group and Generali Spa. The size of the account is estimated at Rs 35 crore annually, sources said to Televisionpoint.com.

    Future Generali has commenced operations its Indian operations in mid-2007, and operates in life and general insurance space through two companies including Future Generali India Life Insurance company and Future Generali India Insurance Company. Both these companies will be serviced by O&M.

    Saatchi & Saatchi is the incumbent agency. The media duties for the Future Generali will continue to be handled by Starcom MediaVest Group, which already handles entire media for the Future Group.

    In November 2007, Future Generali had called for a multi-agency pitch, following which Saatchi & Saatchi had won the account. At that time, O&M was also pitching for the account, however, in the final rounds, the two strongest contenders were only Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT India.

    Sources say that O&M will roll out an new campaign for the company, which is themed around the benefits an insurance company offers to the customers. The campaign is likely to be launched by December end this year. The media mix would comprise of 360 degree approach including television, print, outdoor, radio, Internet, mobile, BTL activities and other innovations.
