    Sheetal Mehra is national sales head, activations, Radio City

    Radio City has reinforced its activation business with the appointment of Sheetal Mehra, who joins as national sales head, activations.

    Reporting in to Ashit Kukian, executive vice-president and national sales head, Radio City, Sheetal will spearhead Radio City Connect, which comprises a national team of over 35 professionals.

    Speaking about the Radio City Connect, Ashit Kukian said, "In a drive for better efficiencies on every media rupee, Indian marketers are increasingly going the micro-marketing way with a focus on select high-value, high-volume markets to cash in with more and more localized messaging. Optimal delivery to this equation is clearly radio's forte."

    Mehra has more than 14 years work experience in sales media spanning print, radio and television. A postgraduate in psychology and a specialist in marketing management from Mumbai University, she has worked on many brands, including Mid-Day, Indian Express, Zee TV and Star India.

    As for Radio City Connect, it has clients such as Nokia, Vodafone, Marico, Ford India, Kotak Mahindra and Idea Cellular.
