Sahara One Q2 net sales at Rs 103 crore

Sahara One Media and Entertainment has posted a consolidated net sales from operations of Rs 103 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, as against Rs 60.71 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
During the period, the company's television business fetched Rs 97.54 crore, while motion pictures earned Rs 1.31 crore.
In the second quarter of FY 09, the company's profit before tax stood at Rs 32.13 crore, up from Rs 2.01 crore in the year-ago period. Television business's profit stood at Rs 33 crore, while motion pictures incurred a loss of Rs 0.75 crore.
