Televisionpoint.com Correspondent | Mumbai Dish TV India has announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.
Gross sales and operating revenues were Rs 173.3 crore as compared to Rs 75.5 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal. The half-yearly revenue stood at Rs 337.7 crore, an increase of 105 per cent from the corresponding period last year.
Dish TV has added 5.29 lakhs subscribers in the Q2 as compared to 4.01 lakhs new subscribers added during Q1, registering an increase of 32 per cent.

Dish TV continues to be a market leader with 54 per cent market share, with sizeable sales and distribution infrastructure of over 650 distributors and 45,000 dealers across 6,500 towns. |
