Televisionpoint.com Correspondent | Mumbai Global communications major WPP Group has proposed to set up a subsidiary in India, which will be a part of its international arm Hill and Knowlton (H&K) agency network.
The subsidiary would render services in public relations, advertising and public affairs communications. The H&K agency network has approached the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) for its investment in the Indian subsidiary.
WPP has requested the board to mull over the restrictive NOC codes for the advertising sector, where it is required it obtain a no-objection from the existing JV partners.
H&K is known to offer FDI solutions that develop winning strategies and increase international market share for governments and authorities in the competitive fight for trade, investment and tourism.
H&K is headquartered in New York, with 73 offices in 41 countries, as well as an extensive associate network. |
