PVP Ventures completes multiplex auction at Chennai

PVP Ventures has concluded the public auction of an upcoming multiplex theatre property, belonging to its subsidiary, PVP Screens, at Villivakkam in Chennai. It included land of about 16 grounds together with a building under construction and assets.
The highest bid received and accepted was Rs 21.25 crore, PVP informed BSE on Thursday. PVP Screens is a fully owned subsidiary of Telephoto Entertainments and is a subsidiary of PVP Ventures to the extent of 65.81%.
Originally belonging to Dasaprakash group of hotels, it used to be the most preferred resort for VIPs and top businessmen. It was then acquired by the erstwhile SSI through AGS Hotel. Later, SSI was acquired by Prasad V Potluri and became PVP ventures.
