    Tuesday - Nov 25, 2008
    Televisionpoint.com Correspondent | Mumbai
Games2Win has launched Gamecurry, a global search engine for Flash games. Over 400 million consumers on the Internet play online Flash games as per comScore data (September 2008). Within a month, Gamecurry.com will showcase global search trends live on the site.

These games have been further listed by type and genre to make searching for games fun and interesting. Adding on top of regular search, Gamecurry.com has added an interesting 'crowd-sourcing' layer that allows consumers who have found games on Gamecurry.com to rate the games based on some simple yet direct icons. The website will present its visitors search trends such as 'games being loved by girls in Finland' or 'games that boys find exciting in Russia'.

Within a few hours of going live, trends are already emerging, which found that boys in India search for '3D, adult and adventure' games, whilst girls in India search for 'dress up, kiss and cooking' games.

Alok Kejriwal, founder and CEO, Games2win.com, explained, "A vertical search engine for Flash games was waiting to happen as an idea and we are happy that Games2win seized and executed the opportunity in the form of Gamecurry.com. The combination of regular search with a social crowd sourced layer is very unique and will surely make Gamecurry.com the best way to search for online games."

Sunder Soman, business head, Gamecurry.com, said, "In the highly competitive and technically challenging 'Search Tools' domain, our team has done a wonderful job and created a truly unique product by injecting uniqueness, convenience and practicality into Gamecurry."
