Rahul Kapoor - Televisionpoint.comt | New Delhi Jaypee Cement, a subsidiary of the Jaypee Group, has called for a creative pitch. Presently, Contract Advertising - Delhi handles the creative duties of Jaypee Cement.
About eight creative agencies have been shortlisted by the company for the next round. However, the names of the agencies taking part in the pitch couldn't be ascertained at the time of filing the report. The account size is pegged at Rs 10 crore.
The group is currently present in central and northern India and plans to expand across various states to have a pan-India presence. To make its presence felt in the current and new markets, it decided to have an new creative agency, which has an national presence.
Manoj Gaur, executive chairperson, Jaypee Group, says, "We desire to associate with an agency, which shares similar values of inner strength, endurance and everlasting performance."
The company recently roped in cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador. A campaign featuring Tendulkar, was used in television, print and OOH media about three months back. The brand sports a tagline, Andar Se Solid, which consolidates its core values of trust, resilience and stability.
Earlier, there were two products under the Jaypee Cement banner, called 'Buland' (which had the tagline Buland Bharat ka Buland Cement) and Buniyaad (which had the tagline Yugon Yugon ka Saathi). Now, both the products have been dissolved and there is only one cement product from the Jaypee Group.
In 2009, Jaypee Group has merged its four subsidiaries engaged in cement, real estate, construction and hospitality businesses with its flagship listed firm Jaiprakash Associates. |
