The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 33 for four cities - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore - is out. The story remains the same as it was for a couple of weeks now, as Radio Mirchi continues to lead in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata; while Big FM is No. 1 in Bangalore.
MumbaiIn Week 33, Radio Mirchi leads in the Financial Capital with a market share of 18.9 per cent. Red FM and AIR FM are placed second and third, with market shares of 15 per cent and 12.5 per cent, respectively.
Radio City has occupied the fourth position, with a market share of 12 per cent. With a market share of 11.7 per cent, Big FM is placed fifth in the city. With market shares of 11 and 6.8 per cent, Fever FM and Radio One are placed sixth and seventh, respectively.
AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 5.3 per cent, followed by Vividh Bharati which has 2.5 per cent; Akashvani which has 2.3 per cent; and Meow FM has 2.1 per cent market share.
DelhiIn Week 33, Radio Mirchi is the No.1 radio station in the National Capital and it leads with a market share of 26 per cent. It is followed by Fever FM and AIR FM in the second and third positions with a market share of 19.3 per cent and 15.6 per cent, respectively.
The fourth place is occupied by Radio City with a market share of 8.7 per cent. It is followed by Red FM in the fifth position, which has a market share of 8.5 per cent. With a market share of 6.9 per cent, Radio One is placed sixth in Delhi. It is followed by Big FM in the seventh spot, with a market share 6.4 per cent.
Among the other stations in Delhi, Hit FM has a market share of 2.2 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow and Meow FM with 2.1 per cent each. Vividh Bharati has a market share of 1.9 per cent; while Akashvani has 0.2 per cent.
KolkataIn Week 33, Radio Mirchi, Big FM and Friends FM continue to occupy the the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 position, respectively in Kolkata, with a market share of 18.6 per cent, 17.6 per cent and 14.3 per cent, respectively.
This week, Aamar FM occupies the fourth place in Kolkata with a market share of 10.3 per cent. Red FM has moved up a spot with a market share of 7.6 per cent.
With a market share of 6.5 per cent, Fever FM is placed sixth in the city. It is followed by Meow FM and Radio One, with market shares of 6.4 per cent and 6.2 per cent, respectively.
Among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.9 per cent; AIR FM Gold has 3.8 per cent; Akashvani has 2.5 per cent; Power FM has 1.6 per cent; and Vividh Bharati has a market share of 0.8 per cent.
BangaloreIn Week 33 also, the status quo in Bangalore remains unchanged, with Big FM occupying the No. 1 spot, followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM as the second and third players.
This week, Big FM has a market share of 20.5 per cent. Radio Mirchi is placed second, with a market share of 15.4 per cent; while . Fever FM has a market share of 15.3 per cent.
AIR FM and Radio City are placed fourth and fifth in the market, with market shares of 12.1 and 11.4 per cent, respectively. S FM has moved up a spot to become the No. 6 player, with a market share of 8.9 per cent.
Next in line is Radio One, with a market share of 8.8 per cent. Vivid Bharati is the eighth player in the city, having managed a market share of 3.9 per cent. Radio Indigo has 2.5 per cent market share; followed by Gyan Vani which has 0.6 per cent and Akashvani has a market share of 0.4 per cent.
