Advertising on TV dip 4% in 2004 |

This week, AdEx India looks
at Hotels category. First, let's have a look at Hotels
advertising spends across the years on Television.
After observing maximum growth of 91 per cent in 2003,
Hotels advertising dips 4 per cent in 2004 on Television.
Do Hotel advertisers prefer any specific quarters for
advertising on Television through the year? The chart
below gives the answers.
Fourth quarter gets the maximum advertising on Television
across 02-04 whereas 2001 was an exceptional case.
Let's also look at the Top 5 Spenders in Hotels category
on Television in 2004.
Here, Golden Palms Spa & Resort grabs the top position
with 28 per cent of the advertising share whereas Hyatt
Corporation gets the 2nd position with 20 per cent of
the share.
Let's have a look at the top 5 brands advertised on Television
in 2004.
Golden Palms Spa Resort tops the brands list with 28%
of the share and Hyatt International gets the second position
with 18% of the share.
